Cafeteria
Guests are welcome to use the cafeteria!  The Cafeteria opens at 6 a.m. with self-service of breakfast items throughout the morning. Cafeteria line hours are:
 Lunch--11:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
 Dinner--5:45-6:45 p.m.

Guest Trays
You may have a guest tray delivered to a patient room by ordering at the main lobby receptionist and notifying the patient's nurse.

Sandwiches, Snacks and Gifts
These items and more are available in the GCMC Auxiliary Shops located in the main lobby and at the outpatient entrance.  Pop and snacks are offered in the vending machines in the cafeteria and near the outpatient entrance.

Physicians
If the physician is a member of the McFarland Clinic-Jefferson office, you may call extension 450 from a patient room or 386-4192 from a phone away from the medical center to reach the doctor.  McFarland Clinic-Jefferson  hours are:
 8:30-5 p.m., Monday-Friday
 8:30-12 noon, Saturday

To reach other physicians, contact the receptionist for the correct phone number.

Questions about care
If you or your family have questions about your care, please ask your nurse or ask to speak to members of the social services department.

Questions about billings
For answers to questions about your insurance, billing or charges, please contact our business office. 

Quiet Room
A room located two doors east of the nurses' station is available for use by family and friends of patients.  This comfortable room is suitable for meetings with doctors, social services staff and others as well as a place for respite and meditation.

Visiting hours
Pleasant visits with your family and friends can play a major role in your recovery.  These suggestions may make visits more relaxing: 

Visiting hours and number of visitors are limited per staff discretion.

Visiting in Obstetrics
Family and friends of newborns may visit with mother and babe in mother's room.  Visitors must be currently without infectious illness.

Visiting in Special Care Unit
Special visiting periods are in effect for this area and will be explained by the staff of that unit.  In the best interest of patient care, it may be necessary to limit visitors in this area.

Visitor services
Lounges and quiet spaces are located in several areas around the medical center.  Pay phones are located in the main lobby and near the outpatient and emergency entrances.

GCMC has been designated a smoke-free environment.
