Home Page News04/08/2013 On Wednesday, May 30, Greene County Medical Center Board of Trustees chair, Jim Schleisman, announced the appointment of Carl Behne as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the medical center, effective June 16, 2012. Behne joined the medical center as Chief Operating Officer (COO) in February 2012. Schleisman noted, “During his short tenure, Behne has demonstrated his ability to provide effective and positive leadership on a daily basis. His passion for excellent customer service and patient care as well as his approachable and outgoing character, will serve the medical center well as we move forward.” Prior to joining Greene County Medical Center, Behne was employed by the Great River Health System in West Burlington, Iowa where he most recently served as Director of Business Development and Outreach. He also held positions in clinical operations, management and strategy for Great River. Behne has a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from Des Moines University. Behne and his wife Allison have two children, Samantha and Nathan. |
