Auxiliary Holiday of Lights at Medical Center Now Through Dec. 3
by Greene County Medical Center - November 10, 2014
The trees and wreaths now on display in the main lobby of Greene County Medical Center are part of the Auxiliary’s “Holiday of Lights.” When visitors come to the main lobby now through December 3, they will be filled with holiday spirit – even with the Grinch trying to take off with a tree!
The public is invited to view the wonderful display now through December 3. Trees, wreaths, door and table decorations are all up for silent auction, which will end at 3 p.m. on December 3.
Medical center departments, local organizations, businesses and individuals have decorated over 40 Christmas trees, holiday wreaths and other holiday items. Not only is the Holiday of Lights festive, it’s a good fundraiser as well. The silent auction raises money for a great cause. All funds raised by the Auxiliary are used for equipment needs of the medical center.
The Auxiliary will end their 2014 fundraising efforts on Thursday, December 11, with their annual candy sale. Plates of candies and other holiday goodies will be available for sale in the main and outpatient lobby starting at 7 a.m., until all items are gone.
