Auxiliary's 2015 Table Talk Invites You to Decorate with Flair

Always wanted to decorate with flair?  Try something daring and different?  You can do that at the thirteenth annual Table Talk salad luncheon, sponsored by the Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary.

This annual event will take place on Saturday, October 17, starting with table viewing at 11:30 a.m. and lunch beginning at 12:15 p.m.  The event will take place in Clover Hall at the Greene County Fairgrounds.

Hollie Roberts, Auxiliary liaison and foundation director for the medical center, is encouraging ladies to go all out and make the hosting and table decorating a fun event.  She noted, “Seeing the tables decorated in so many fun and creative themes is what makes this event so unique.  I hope people choose to go all out this year – fairies, fiestas, super heroes, legos – whatever catches someone’s fancy.”

Sponsoring a table for $40 gives social organizations and individual groups the opportunity to “host” a table of eight.  Table hosts can create a theme and decorate an 8’ table accordingly – including table service and dessert.  The dessert is for the table guests.  The group is also asked to bring a salad large enough to feed 16, which becomes part of the shared “salad luncheon.”

The Auxiliary provides the 8’ tables, chairs, drinks, dinner rolls and serving spoons for the salads.

For those who can’t attend this social event, “Star” sponsorships are available at three levels: Sterling Star Sponsorship ($500); Platinum Star Sponsorship ($250); and Gold Star Sponsorship ($100).  There will also be a raffle during the event, and raffle donations are being accepted.  All proceeds from the luncheon will be used by the Auxiliary to purchase equipment for the medical center.

Tables and sponsorships should be secured by October 5, 2015.  For more information, contact auxilian Ann Frederick at 641-427-5781 or Hollie Roberts at the medical center at 515-386-0108.
