Greene County Family Medicine Clinic Adds Mental Health Therapist

Beginning January 6, 2020, the Greene County Family Medicine Clinic started offering behavioral health services with the addition of board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) Heather Wilson. Now, Bonnie Riphagen, who is a licensed master of social work (LMSW), joins Wilson in the Greene County Family Medicine Clinic as a Mental Health Therapist to offer more behavioral health services.

Riphagen’s services include counseling, diagnosis, evaluation/assessment, plan of care/treatment development and collaboration with the health care team. “I am pleased to join Heather Wilson and offer more Behavioral Health services in the Greene County Family Medicine Clinic,” said Riphagen.

Before her job at Greene County Medical Center, Riphagen worked on an inpatient behavioral health unit as a mental health therapist, crisis intervention and addiction therapist, bereavement coordinator and family services coordinator.

She graduated from Iowa State University with a Child and Family Services degree and a licensed master’s degree from University of Iowa in social work (LMSW).
