Greene County Medical Center Inducts New Board Member
Jefferson, Iowa –The Greene County Medical Center Board of Trustees and Administration inducted a new member to the Board at their March meeting. Long-time Greene County resident Douglas (Doug) Carman has joined the Greene County Medical Center Board of Trustees.
Doug currently lives in Jefferson, IA, and is an active member of the community. Doug is retired from People’s Bank in Scranton, IA, after 38 years of service. Doug is also on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, and has a passion for putting people first and giving back to his community.
“My interest in joining the Greene County Medical Center Board of Trustees is a matter of giving back to the community and the people who live here,” said Doug. “The Medical Center is an essential component to the county and to the region and what better place to spend my time giving back.”
Doug has a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Business from Northwest Missouri State University. With his background and skillset in agriculture, finance and business, Doug will bring a great amount of knowledge to the Greene County Medical Center Board of Trustees.
Doug is replacing Board Member David Hoyt, who has been on the Greene County Medical Center Board of Trustees for 15 years. The Medical Center is thankful for the dedication David Hoyt has had to the Medical Center during his time on the Board.
