Medical Center Moment - August 2018

by -

The school bells are ringing, the buses are on our streets and suddenly fall is in the air.

Regardless of the season, the medical center continues to move forward, even in the midst of change.

As we enter September, we’ll be saying goodbye to oncology/hematology specialist Dr. Matthew Hill and welcoming his colleague Dr. Zeeshan Jawa to campus. Dr. Hill’s last day of clinics will be September 4 and Dr. Jawa will begin visits in October.

Our chemotherapy/infusion services will not be affected with this change, as these services are not exclusive to our oncology clinic. Our chemotherapy and infusion services are open to all patients who need and/or want this care close to home. Jessica Brown, RN, works with providers throughout the area to offer this much-needed and sensitive care.

In another transition this fall, we will be saying goodbye to visiting cataract surgeon Dr. Ryan Vincent and welcoming Dr. Steven O. Anderson. Both are affiliated with the Wolfe Eye Clinic.

Please join me in thanking both Dr. Hill and Dr. Vincent for their compassionate care over the years, and welcoming Dr. Jawa and Dr. Anderson to our team.

As always, I hope you see the significance and value in all the services we offer the community and give us the opportunity to take care of you and those you love.

Always Here, Always Caring
