As March comes to a close, it’s time to start looking toward April 1, and the exciting changes happening at the medical center.

On April 1, UnityPoint Clinic will undergo a name and ownership change. The medical center and UnityPoint Clinic have been working on this transition for the past several months, and the new Greene County Family Medicine Clinic will officially open its doors on the first. The location is the same and the providers are the same. Our goal is that our patients will experience exceptional care here.

Also on Monday, April 1, our new pediatrician, Dr. Holly Van de Voort, will be seeing patients in the new pediatrics clinic. Dr. Van de Voort is eager to start her practice, caring for the healthcare needs of newborns to adolescents.Dr. Van de Voort is moving to Greene County from Georgia, so please welcome her and her husband to our community.

We continue to fulfill our mission of enriching our community by providing quality, compassionate care to every patient and contributing to the well-being of every family. Certainly the Greene County Family Medicine Clinic and the new pediatrics clinic have our mission front and center.

Thank you for entrusting us with you and your family’s health care. We appreciate you staying close to home for the care you need.

Always Here, Always Caring,
Carl Behne, CEO
