After a busy April, May seemed like a quiet month at the medical center — which was a good thing for all of our employees who were busy planning and celebrating college and high school graduations with their children or grandchildren.

May is a month filled with celebrations that make us feel good about our young people and their futures. Seeing all their accomplishments spread out on tables and bulletin boards and in graduation programs is heartwarming.

The medical center’s imaging department is experiencing a graduation of sorts this month, as they say goodbye to their old mammogram equipment and bring in a brand new 3D mammography machine. Imaging Director Jennifer Miller anticipates they’ll be offering 3D mammograms by mid-June.

Thanks to all who made this possible — the generous community members and employees who donated to our most recent Greene Backer campaign, as well as our Auxiliary who did many fundraisers specifically for this purpose.

So, congratulations to all of the graduates — we hope you remember you are always welcome here in your home community.

The medical center welcomes the opportunity to take care of you and those you love.

Always Here, Always Caring,
Carl Behne, CEO
