Jaime Dodd of Winterset has been hired as the new director for Greene County Medical Center’s long term care facility.

Dodd has experience as a nursing home director in both hospital-based and freestanding for-profit nursing homes.  She has a nursing home administrator’s license, a social services bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa and a master’s degree in Health Care Administration from the University of South Dakota.

Dodd and her husband have two children – a five-year-old and an 18-month-old.

Dodd replaces Linda Bills who recently retired after 34 years in Long Term Care.  The Long Term Care facility at Greene County Medical Center offers a home to over 50 permanent residents and a temporary home to many who are recovering from surgery or illness before returning to their private residence.  The staff prides itself in creating a family environment with nurses and aides who offer compassionate care to every resident.
