Did you know Greene County Medical Center has been providing health care to the community and surrounding areas since New Year’s Day in 1938? What started as a 32-bed unit has now grown to cover a multitude of services and exceptional care for individuals, from birth to end of life. In 2014, Greene County Medical Center recorded 25,243 outpatient visits, 288 inpatient admissions and 3,976 ER visits. Our continued growth and service prove to be a testament of our commitment to the communities we serve.
Every community needs medical care that is close by — especially when emergency situations arise. A long commute can mean the difference between life and death, which is why it’s vital that Greene County Medical Center's emergency room be easily accessible to the community. The new emergency entrance will have 24/7 staffing and will be front and center on Grimmell Road for improved visibility.
