Open positions at Greene County Medical Center:

Director of Foundation & Community Relations

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Responsible for establishing and leading the fundraising goals and efforts of the Foundation
  • Will develop and implement initiatives and programs to increase Foundation giving
  • Manage, create, and/or monitor the external and internal image and communication of the medical center including publications, advertising, signage, special events planning
  • Manage website and social media platform development and content update
  • Responsible for overseeing Ever Greene Ridge, an independent senior living complex, including marketing and showing of empty units
  • Supervise the Auxiliary, managing the gift shop operations, fundraising events and various other duties within the medical center
  • Must have the ability to build relationships with a philanthropic mindset
  • Must possess strong planning and organization skills
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of charitable organizations as well as marketing and sales experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, social media platforms, website management systems and Adobe Creative Suite preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience required
  • Two to four years supervisory experience required

Environmental Services Worker 11:00P-7:30A

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • 3rd shift - 11:00P-7:30A, alternating weekends
  • Job duties include but not limited to: sweep/extract carpets, burnish floors, extract furniture, collect medical waste/trash, operate equipment, clean overhead lighting and internal/external windows
  • Assist Facilities Management in snow/ice removal at entrances/exits, security of building, and other duties assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of team required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred

RN - Family Medicine Clinic

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • 10-hour shifts, 7:00A-5:30P Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
  • Assist providers in clinic with direct patient care, examinations, and treatment plans
  • Prepare patients and assist providers with minor surgical and medical procedures
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with patients and their families
    Required: State of Iowa RN license
  • Required: BLS and Mandatory Reporter certification
  • Preferred: Previous clinical experience
  • Preferred: Familiar with EPIC and Microsoft products

CNA - Long Term Care

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 8-hour shifts, 2 - 10 p.m., every other weekend

  • Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)

  • Will work 3 of 4 weekends
