Clinical Nurse Supervisor- Acute
The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is visible, accessible and actively engaged in supporting staff on a daily basis. The Clinical Nurse Supervisor is a nurse leader who has the skills to deliver high quality evidence based collaborative care to a wide range of patients.
- Full-time exempt position (80 hours/2- week pay period)
- Monday-Friday, days as needed for coverage.

- Act as an ambassador for the health center by speaking positively in the presence of our patients and members of our community.
- Actively participate in QA/PI projects to meet regulatory compliance.
- Follow GCMC infection control policies and procedures at all times.
- Serve as an example to staff by using hospital policies and procedures.
- Participating actively in development and accomplishment of hospital regulatory compliance
- Facilitate the scheduling process and adjust schedule to meet hospital's needs.
- Provide fair and consistent leadership to all department.

Infection Prevention- RN
- Coordinate infection prevention providing research, consultation, education and direction to Medical Center Departments and staff.
- Responsible for coordinating and maintaining Medical Center's infection prevention program according to the CMS Critical Access Hospital Conditions of Participation
- Responsible for collecting and evaluating data, related to Medical Center's Infection Prevention standards.
- Ensure Medical Center meets all Federal, State and CMS, and other accredited organization's rules, regulations and recommendations.
- Coordinate Development and review of Medical Center wide Policy and Procedures relating to Infection Prevention
- Facilitate and maintain Medical Center Infection Prevention Committee.
- Utilize research-based recommendations and standards of quality and infection prevention.
- Coordinate Medical staff, for community education regarding Infection Prevention.
- Facilitate Infection prevention surveillance of Medical Center, meeting all required Federal, State and CMS, rules and regulations.
- Responsible for communication and collaboration with the QAPI program, as well as the antibiotic Stewardship.
- Report quality infection prevention measures and activities to Quality Director and other medical staff as advised.
- Assists Facilities department with Infection Control Risk Assessment for facility projects.
- Participates in Emergency Preparedness Committees
- Self-motivated, organized, and detailed, ability to multi-task.

- Required: Current State of Iowa RN License

Executive Assistant
- Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)

- Provide high-level administrative support.
- Professionally performs all administrative duties as requested, including scheduling, coordinating arrangements and reservations for specific business-related meetings for senior leaders and Board of Trustees.

- Promote and maintain individual patient and community health by providing medical services under the supervision of a physician.
- Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical condition of patient.

- Attend continuing education programs to improve performance and maintain licensure.
- One year experience in family medicine or internal medicine clinic preferred.

- Will transport patients within the hospital, to and from test sites and nursing units as assigned.
- Will assist nursing staff with safe transferring and lifting of patients.

Respiratory Therapist-Care Management
- Full-time (72 hrs./2 week pay period)
- Monday-Friday, no weekends or holidays
- Must be self-directed, self-learner, organized, able to work as a multi-disciplinary team.
- Preferred experience with PFT's, pulmonary rehab, sleep studies and EPIC a plus, but will train for the right candidate.
- Duties will include Ventilator management, respiratory therapy treatments, respiratory protocols, EKG's, cardiac and pulmonary diagnostics.
- BLS/ACLS/PALS within one year of hire
- Must be licensed by the state of Iowa, RRT or CRT.
RN Acute - Acute Care
- Full-time position (72hours/2 week pay period)
