Central Sterile Processing Technician- Surgery

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
    Monday- Friday- 7A-3:30P
  • Will perform cleaning, disinfecting, and decontamination duties on medical equipment
  • Will assemble instruments, instruments trays, and packs including  documentation
  • Assure proper storage of sterile supplies and equipment and maintain inventory supply levels
  • Will operate sterilizers and disinfection systems
  • Ability to learn basic computer skills required
  • Completion of Central Service/ Material Management course required
  • Previous central sterile processing or surgical service experience preferred 

Clinical Informatics Analyst- IT

  • Part-time position (20-24 hours/2-week pay period)
    Monday- Friday- varied shifts, occasional weekends and evenings
  • Provides support with daily activities of hospital
  • Liaison between care teams, information technology staff, administration, vendors,
  • and Unity Point resources to help deliver high- quality patient care technology solutions
  • to resolve clinical or health care administration problems.
  • Develop or deliver training programs for health information technology, 
  • creating operating manual as needed.
  • Provide consultation to care teams regarding hardware/software configuration
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office products
  • Hospital or medical clinic office experience preferred
  • Required Associate's Degree or six months or more related experience
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree two to more years' of experience
  • Licensed RN in the State of Iowa

Patient Access Rep- Patient Access

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday- Friday, rotating weekends
  • Provides support with daily activities of hospital business office
  • Will register patients in outpatient and emergency department
  • Excellent customer service skills  required
  • Hospital or medical clinic office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Basic Knowledge of health insurance preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products preferred
  • Basic Life Support and Notary Public require, will train

Director, Revenue Cycle- Revenue Cycle

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday-Friday: Exempt
  • Privacy Officer for the medical Center
  • Chargemaster Lead for the medical center
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Performs annual performance appraisals on Revenue Cycle Supervisor and Prior Authorization Specialist.
  • Serve on committees/teams as appointed by Administrator or Executive Director.
  • Maintain records pertaining to personnel, billing reports, production, daily reports.
  • Monitor and maintain department experience budget.
  • Preferred six months to one year related experience in the health care industry/medical facility
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

 RN, House Supervisor- Acute Care

  • Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 12 hour shifts, 7P-7A, every third weekend
  • Previous med/surg experience preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Required: Valid State of Iowa RN license 

Cook - Nutrition Services

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Combination hours- 8 hour shifts, 5:00A-1:30P and 10:30A-7:00P
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience preparing main entrees, vegetables, salads and baked goods
  • Ability to meet meal schedules and properly utilize leftover foods
  • Require standard cook skills
  • Scheduled for non-cook shifts
  • Knowledge of modified diets preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred

  • Job duties include but not limited to: sweep/extract carpets,
  • burnish floors, extract furniture, collect medical waste/trash,
  • operate equipment, clean overhead lighting and internal/external windows
  • Assist Facilities Services in snow/ice removal at entrances/exits,
  • security of building, and other duties as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Previous EVS experience required
  • Previous EVS leadership preferred

    1st shift - 7A-3:30P, rotating weekends
  • Job duties include but not limited to: sweep/extract carpets, burnish floors,
  • extract furniture, collect medical waste/trash, operate equipment,
  • clean overhead lighting and internal/external windows
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required

  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred
