Food Service Worker - Nutrition Services (Part Time)

  • Part-time position (48 hours/2-week pay period)
  • 10:30A-7:00P, working 2 during the week and every other weekend
  • Duties will include washing dishes/equipment, food prep, and delivering trays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Skills in prepping food product, labeling, cash register required
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred

ER Tech - Acute Care

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • Combination of 8- and 12-hour shifts
  • Weekdays 3:00P-11:00P or 10:00A-10:00P, every other weekend
  • Strong communication and customer service skills required
  • Excellent computer skills, familiar with EPIC
  • Six months to 1 year related experience preferred
  • Required: CNA or EMT-B or Paramedic

  • Primary hours available will be 4:00P-7:00P, with every other weekend availability
  • Additional variable shifts available if desired

Cook - Nutrition Services

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 8-hour shifts, 5:30A-2:00P or 10:30A-7:00P
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience preparing main entrees, vegetables, salads and baked goods
  • Ability to meet meal schedules and properly utilize leftover foods
  • Knowledge of modified diets preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting perferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred

Help Desk Tech - Information Technology

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday-Friday; occasional weekends, evenings, holidays; plus rotating on call
  • 8-hour shifts, 7:30A-4:00P
  • Must effectively communicate with clinical and business staff members
  • Experience with Windows environment and advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office Suite required
  • COMPTIA A+ or similar certification preferred
  • Associates degree and/or equivalent experience required
  • Two or more years of technology support in a healthcare environment preferred

Patient Access Rep

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday-Friday, rotating weekends
  • Will train and work all shifts
  • Provides support with daily activities of hospital business office
  • Will register patients in outpatient and emergency department
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Hospital or medical clinic office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Basic knowledge of health insurance preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Basic Life Support and Notary Public required, will train

Central Sterile Processing Technician - Surgery

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday-Friday 7:00A-3:30P
  • Will perform cleaning, disinfecting, and decontamination duties on medical equipment
  • Will assemble instruments, instrument trays, and packs including documentation
  • Assure proper storage of sterile supplies and equipment and maintain inventory supply levels
  • Will operate sterilizers and disinfection systems
  • Ability to learn basic computer skills required
  • Completion of Central Service/Materials Management course required
  • Previous central sterile processing or surgical services experience preferred

RN - Surgery

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday-Friday 7:00A-3:30P, plus call
  • Perform duties of the scrub, circulator or assistant during surgical procedures
  • Monitor postoperative patients in the recovery room
  • Complete accurate intraoperative and postoperative documentation
  • Previous OR experience preferred
  • Required: Valid State of Iowa RN license

Bus Driver - Long Term Care

  • As needed position
  • Responsible for the safe transport of staff and residents in and around Jefferson and surrounding communities for various long term care outings
  • Requires a thorough knowledge of passenger safety and ability to maintain courtesy under stress
  • Practices defensive driving habits and exercises prudent judgement under a variety of constantly changing operating conditions
  • Required: High school diploma, must be at least 21 years of age
  • Required: Valid class "C" Commercial Driver's License with a passenger endorsement
  • Required: Good driving record, three moving violations or less in the most recent three-year period and must submit to an annual Motor Vehicle Records check  

Environmental Services Worker

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 1st shift - 6:00A-2:30P, alternating weekends
    1st shift- 7:00A-3:30P, alternating weekends
  • 2nd shift - 3:00P-11:30P, alternating weekends
  • Job duties include but not limited to: sweep/extract carpets, burnish floors, extract furniture, collect medical waste/trash, operate equipment, clean overhead lighting and internal/external windows
  • Assist Facilities Management in snow/ice removal at entrances/exits, security of building, and other duties assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required
  • Attention to detail required 
  • Previous floor care experience preferred
  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred
