Patient Access Clerk

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday, rotating weekends
  • Will train and work all shifts
  • Provides support with daily activities of hospital business office
  • Will register patients in outpatient, emergency room and clinic areas
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Hospital or medical clinic office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Basic knowledge of health insurance preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Basic Life Support and Notary Public required, will train

Respiratory Therapist - Care Management Services

  • Part-time position (56 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday, 10-hour shifts, 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.
  • Will supervise and carry out medical prescriptions for respiratory care
  • Must understand symptoms of respiratory diseases and be able to recognize ill effects of treatment and the corrective action to take
  • Must be organized, self-starter, flexible and able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must provide patient-centered care
  • Previous experience at a critical access hospital or rural hospital preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program and NBRC registered required

Marketing Specialist - Community Relations

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday, occasional evening or weekend
  • Responsible for generating a variety of marketing material including advertising, media releases, brochures and newsletters
  • Design and manage content for web and social media
  • Collaborate with many leaders and departments on promotion of medical center services
  • Marketing and promotion experience required
  • Experience in web design and social media venues required
  • Excellent writing and proofing skills necessary
  • Strong computer skills including use of Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Four-year degree with emphasis in writing and/or marketing and promotion preferred

Food Service Worker

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 10:30 a.m. - 7 p.m., every other weekend
  • Rotating holidays
  • Duties will include washing dishes/equipment, food prep and delivering trays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Skills in prepping food product, labeling, cash register required
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred

Environmental Services Worker (3 - 11:30P)

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 2nd shift - 3 - 11:30 p.m., alternating weekends
  • Job duties include but not limited to: cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms; collect medical waste/trash; sweeping/mopping floors; washing internal/external windows
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of team required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred

Home Care Aide - Public Health

  • PRN position
  • Shifts as needed, weekdays 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Genuine compassion for working with elderly and special needs populations required
  • Valid driver's license with good driving record and dependable transportation required
  • Previous home care experience preferred

ER Tech - Acute Care

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 8-hour shifts, 3 - 11 p.m., every other weekend
  • Strong communication and customer service skills required
  • Excellent computer skills, familiar with EPIC
  • Six months to 1 year related experience preferred
  • CNA or EMT-B required

RN - Acute Care

  • PRN position
  • Shifts as needed
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • One year nursing experience preferred
  • Iowa RN license required

LPN/RN - Long Term Care (6A-6P)

  • Part-time position (40 hours/2-week pay period)
  • 12-hour shifts, 6A-6P, every other weekend
