Controller

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • Monday-Friday: Exempt
  • Issue timely, accurate, and complete financial statements
  • General ledger, accounts payable, and fixed assets
  • Cash management, and payroll reporting
  • Assist CFO with month end financial reporting and annual budget preparation
  • Proven leadership skills and oversight of AP Clerk and Staff Accountant
  • Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
  • Previous experience in D365 preferred or other ERP Systems
  • Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures 
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and 10+ years of progressively responsible experience
  • CPA desired

 

Laundry Worker/Environmental Services Worker

  • Part-time position (56 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • 6- or 8-hour shifts, between the hours of 5:00A-3:30P
  • Monday-Friday, occasional weekend as needed
  • Will help cover staffing needs in both linen services and environmental services
  • Linen job duties include but not limited to: operate washers and dryers; mix and add detergents, bleaches, and other solutions to clean articles; wash, process, and distribute long term care personals; examine and sort articles and fold, wrap, or hang them
  • EVS job duties include but not limited to: vacuum carpets, collect medical waste/trash, operate equipment, clean overhead lighting and internal/external windows, clean restrooms and other occupied/unoccupied spaces such as patient rooms and lobbies
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred

Employee Screener

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • Variable 8-hr shifts Monday-Friday, rotating weekends
  • Will conduct non-contact temporal scan and health questionnaire screenings for medical center employees, patients, and visitors upon entering the building
  • Customer service, customer interface and interest in healthcare industry preferred
  • Ability to operate office machines and laptop compute required
  • Must have familiarity with Microsoft Office products, specifically MS Excel

 

 

 

Financial Counselor

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30P
  • Primary contact for patients needing help with Medicaid eligibility or financial assistance
  • Compassionate person with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good listening skills
  • Good math skills with attention to detail
  • Previous experience in hospital billing or financial assistance programs preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

Environmental Services Worker

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible 
  • 1st shift - 7:00A-3:30P, alternating weekends
  • Job duties include but not limited to: sweep/extract carpets, burnish floors, extract furniture, collect medical waste/trash, operate equipment, clean overhead lighting and internal/external windows
  • Assist Facilities Management in snow/ice removal at entrances/exits, security of building, and other duties as assigned
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Previous floor care experience preferred
  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred

Food Service Worker - Nutrition Services

  • Part- time position (32 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Weekly shifts 4:00-7:00P, weekend shifts 10:30A-7:00P
  • Combination of weekday shifts and every other weekend
  • Duties will include washing dishes/equipment, food prep, and delivering trays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Skills in prepping food product, labeling, cash register required
  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting preferred

Patient Access Rep

  • Full- time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday-Friday, rotating weekends
  • Will train and work all shifts
  • Provides support with daily activities of hospital business office
  • Will register patients in outpatient and emergency department
  • Excellent customer service skills required
  • Hospital or medical clinic office experience preferred
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Basic knowledge of health insurance preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products preferred
  • Basic Life Support and Notary Public required, will train 

RN - Acute Care

  • Full- time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 12-hour shifts, 7A-7P, every third weekend
  • 12-hour shifts, 7P-7A, every third weekend
  • Previous med/surg experience preferred
  • EPIC experience preferred
  • Required: Valid State of Iowa RN license 

LPN/RN - Long Term Care

  • Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
    6P-6A, every 3rd weekend
  • Quality care where residents are treated like family

  • Required: Valid State of Iowa LPN or RN license

Patient Transporter

  • As needed position
    6-8 hour shifts, Monday-Friday between the hours of 6:30A and 5:00P
  • Will transport patients within the hospital, to and from test sites and nursing units as assigned
  • Will assist nursing staff with safe transferring and lifting of patients
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills required
  • HIPAA and lift training required, will train
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) required, will train
  • Required: HS diploma or equivalent  

Cook - Nutrition Services

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 8-hour shifts, 5:30A-2:00P or 10:30A-7:00P
  • Rotating weekends and holidays
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Experience preparing main entrees, vegetables, salads and baked goods
  • Ability to meet meal schedules and properly utilize leftover foods
  • Knowledge of modified diets preferred
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting perferred
  • ServSafe certification preferred 

CNA - Long Term Care (Weekend Package)

  • Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
