Director of Information Technology

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday, evenings and weekends as necessary
  • Must be able to manage and share experience of developing staff in the performance of their job duties
  • Position requires the ability to prioritize and delegate work for efficient and effective completion of various projects and troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills are required
  • 3-5 years IT experience in a hospital environment required, including 3 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • 4-year degree in Business/Computer Science or equivalent
  • Will plan, organize, implement and establish departmental controls according to policies mandated by the medical center and outside regulatory agencies
  • Work in conjunction with the executive team and department directors to develop a facility-wide strategic technology plan and update it yearly
  • Responsible for developing and being accountable for yearly departmental capital and operating budgets
  • Will work as an integral part of the management team in cooperating with medical staff, administration and other hospital departments and personnel to provide an Information Technology environment that supports Greene County Medical Center's mission, vision and values
  • Will work to maintain a stable technology platform and mitigate risks from unplanned system downtime
  • Must have knowledge and understanding of various system applications used by IT in a healthcare environment, including: Imprivata, VMware, HL7, Interfacing, Fortinet Firewalls, Brocade, EMR support and various ancillary systems supporting the clinical process
  • Must have knowledge of HIPAA, HITECH and PCI Compliance standards and regulations
  • IT director will serve as the medical center's HIPAA security officer
  • Will be a member of the UnityPoint Health Affiliated Covered Entity (ACE), which focuses on monitoring HIPAA security for internal and external threats and will work to educate the workforce on compliance with HIPAA security regulations

Pharmacist

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (8-hour) shifts, plus rotating call for nights, weekends and holidays
  • Maintain and monitor patient profiles of acute care and SNF patients daily and Long Term Care residents monthly
  • Perform sterile compounding, including chemotherapy
  • Educate patients on the safe and effective use of medications
  • Opportunity to collaborate with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, nurses, care coordinators and CRNAs
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Pharmacy or Doctorate of Pharmacy required
  • Current unrestricted registration with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy required
  • Minimum of 1 year hospital experience or a hospital residency preferred
  • Previous experience with EPIC preferred
  • Experience preparing chemotherapy medications preferred

Clinics RN - Pediatrics

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)

  • Previous office/clinic experience working with a pediatrician preferred

Environmental Services Worker - 2nd shift

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)

  • 8-hour shifts, 3 - 11:30 p.m., alternating weekends
  • Job duties include but not limited to: cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, restrooms; collect medical waste/trash; sweeping/mopping floors; washing internal/external windows
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of team required
  • Attention to detail required
  • Previous healthcare EVS experience preferred

Case Management/Utilization Review RN

  • Full-time position (80 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
  • Will provide leadership and promote positive communication with all caregivers
  • Demonstrate clinical leadership as a role model for other staff
  • Act as a liaison between patient, family, staff and providers
  • Handle questions and/or complaints/concerns for patients/families
  • Serve as the leader for MDRs and care transitions
  • Review pre-certification requests for medical necessity and/or clinical documentation
  • Review clinical information to determine appropriate level of care utilizing InterQual criteria
  • Review clinical information for continued stay review
  • State of Iowa RN license required

RN - Cardiac Rehab

  • PRN position
  • Monday - Friday, no weekends
  • Experience working with patients with chronic diseases required
  • Excellent critical thinking skills
  • Must be able to independently interpret cardiac rhythms
  • Previous cardiac experience preferred
  • Iowa RN license required
  • BLS, ACLS, telemetry required

LPN/RN - Long Term Care

  • Full-time position (72 hours/2-week pay period)
  • Benefits eligible
  • 12-hour shifts, 6 p.m. - 6 a.m., every other weekend
  • Iowa LPN or RN license required

CNA - Acute Care

  • Part-time position (40 hours/2-week pay period)
  • 8-hour shifts, 3 -11 p.m., every other weekend
  • Previous hospital experience preferred
  • CNA required

Universal Worker/CNA - Long Term Care
