Sunshine Award recipients consistently demonstrate excellence through clinical skill, extraordinary service and compassionate care. They are an essential part of the care team and are invaluable to the nurses with whom they work closely. 

About the Sunshine Award

Much like the Medical Center's DAISY Award which honors nurses, the Sunshine Award recognizes aides for outstanding patient care. 

What is the Sunshine Award? 

The Sunshine Award is a recognition program that awards and celebrates the extraordinary clinical skill and compassionate care given by aides every day. Greene County Medical Center is proud to recognize one of our aides with this special honor twice a year.

CMA, CNA, ER Tech, Home Care Aide
