Cafeteria
Guests are welcome to use the cafeteria. The Cafeteria opens at 7 a.m. with self-service of breakfast items throughout the morning. Cafeteria line hours are:
- Lunch: 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 5:45-6:45 p.m.
Public Wi-Fi
Wi-Fi is available as "GCMC-guest" on the medical center's first floor with limited availability elsewhere.
Visitor Services
Lounges and quiet spaces are located in several areas around the medical center.
Cell phone usage should be limited during visits.
Greene County Medical Center and grounds are tobacco free.
Visiting
Pleasant visits with your family and friends can play a major role in your recovery. Visitors are an important part of the healing process but tests and treatments need to come first. Visiting hours and number of visitors may be limited by staff or physician. Quiet time is observed from 2 to 3 p.m. Patients have the right to choose who visits and the frequency and duration of the visits.
Visiting in Special Care Unit
Special visiting periods are in effect for this area and will be explained by the staff of that unit. In the best interest of patient care, it may be necessary to limit visitors to patients in this area.
Vending Machines
Pop and snacks are offered in the vending machines in the cafeteria.
Gift Garden Auxiliary Gift Shop
Hours
- Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Snacks, beverages and gifts for patients and visitors are available.
