Sometimes, planting hope means simply making an appointment and taking advantage of walk-in mammograms. This small time investment plants seeds of hope for your future. 

2026 Breast Cancer Awareness Month Events

 

  • Jefferson Matters Java & Juice

  • Friday, October 2, 2026

  • 9:30 a.m.

  • Main lobby of Greene County Medical Center 

  • Gifts for Good Health

    • During the month of October, all patients receiving a mammogram will get a gift and a flower. 

    • Gift basket giveaways -  one basket drawing for patients getting a mammogram in October; one basket drawing for patients who received a mammogram any other month of the past year

  • Walk-In Mammo Mondays

    • Previous screening mammogram must be on file at Greene County Medical Center, must have been at least one year prior since last mammogram

    • Mondays - 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Gift Garden Gift Certificate

  • Every patient who undergoes a mammogram in October, and any month thereafter, will receive a $5 gift certificate to the Gift Garden Gift Shop

  • Pink Out Fridays

    • Show your support by wearing pink every Friday in October

  • Rams' Home Game

    • Greene County Medical Center Imaging and other Team members will be working the concession stand and giving out Breast Cancer Awareness materials at a Rams' home football game in October
