The Greene County Medical Center Auxiliary has spent the past few months gearing up for the season of giving and has incorporated new ideas, new merchandise and a big dose of holiday cheer to their upcoming activities.
“There is nothing more gratifying than being able to put a smile on the faces of someone who has found that perfect item for their home or as a gift. It becomes even more meaningful because we know their purchase will help support the patients and families who use the services offered at Greene County Medical Center,” said Auxiliary President, Joyce Kurth. “We look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new people over the course of this holiday season and hope you all will be able to join us for at least one of our special events or seasonal openings.”
The annual Holiday of Lights silent auction is now underway in the main lobby at the medical center. There are beautifully decorated wreaths, trees and other holiday displays as well as many unique and wonderful gift items. Bidding is open now through 2 p.m. Thursday, December 4
The ever-popular Auxiliary Candy Sale will open at 7 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, in the main lobby of the medical center. Why do all cooking and baking? The best treats around will be available for purchase that day until they are gone. And they do go quickly, so plan on getting there early.
New items for infants and children and unique, one-of-a-kind finds are now available at the Gift Garden. During the holidays, the Auxiliary will be open additional shopping hours for your convenience. In addition to the regular schedule of Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., they will be open during the same hours on Friday, November 21, Saturday, November 22, Friday, November 28, Saturday, November 29, Friday, December 5, Saturday, December 6, Saturday, December 13 and Saturday, December 20. In recognition of the holidays, the Gift Garden will be closed Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
