JEFFERSON, Iowa – The Jefferson Bomgaars hosted its annual Ladies’ Night on November 2, 2025, welcoming community members for an evening of shopping, special promotions and local camaraderie. The event drew strong participation, highlighting Bomgaars’ ongoing commitment to giving back to the communities they serve.
Five percent of all sales from that November evening were donated to the Greene County Medical Center Foundation, supporting their mission to enhance local healthcare services and programs. A check presentation took place earlier this month, recognizing the successful fundraiser and the partnership.
“We are grateful to Bomgaars and all of the Jefferson employees who work so hard to give back to others,” said Foundation Director, Nancy Houska. “We are proud to partner with them and their patrons in the common goal of caring for our neighbors and in bringing them access to the support, services and quality care available right here at home.”
The Greene County Medical Center Foundation supports a wide range of initiatives that enhance local healthcare, including funding for medical equipment, patient care programs, facility improvements, scholarship opportunities and services that directly benefit patients and families.
For the first time in the nine years since its inception, all 184 Bomgaars locations across 15 states participated in Ladies’ Night. In 2024, over $150,000 was distributed across the 183 participating locations.
