Follow MRI Construction Progress at Greene County Medical Center

JEFFERSON, Iowa – Greene County Medical Center CEO, Chad Butterfield, is pleased to announce that construction progress is continuing as planned for the installation of a new, state-of-the-art Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machine. “This is a milestone in the medical center’s commitment to providing cutting-edge diagnostic care for the people in the communities we serve,” Butterfield said.
In an effort to keep patients, staff and community members informed and engaged, Greene County Medical Center is offering access to construction visuals. The new MRI equipment is expected to be operational by mid-January of 2026. It will offer faster scan times, improved image clarity, a more comfortable experience for patients and a more convenient option for all.
